Shooty ZA! rides again!  
Shooty ZA! is back!  It's the last week I'll have my evenings free a good long while so I'm heading to American Classic Marksmen in Norcross for some range time at about 5:30-6ish. It's lady's night there on Thursday so you girls get free range time. They rent guns as well and have hearing and eye protection available so everything you need is there. I'll put some rounds down range myself but I'm always happy to teach as well as let you use my weapons.

Afterward we'll be at The Loop off Chamblee Tucker. We can all sit out on the deck and talk about how bass ass we were shooting whether it's true or not =)

What? ZA!
Where? The Loop PIzza Grill
When? 8pm this Thursday.
Why? Cuz what goes together better than guns and pizza?

Never heard of either place. Sounds kind of scary to me.

Take pictures at the range and have a Gorgonzola Walnut salad for me!

Q: I'm an inexperienced shooter. Can I still come to shooty 'za? Will someone be willing to help me?

Yes!
I am a Marine Corps trained weapons instructor. I have marshaled known distance courses for qualification and coached numerous shooters to Expert marksmanship ranking. I love teaching new shooters. =)

Also Trevor, one of the other shooters who will be there, is an avid amateur shooter and well versed in weapons safety and basic marksmanship techniques. He's also offered to help anyone out who may need it.

I hope you decide to do this again. I was actually planning to get down to the range this Thursday (even without having seen your shooty za announcement, which is just now coming to my attention!), but work got in the way of recreational shooting. :/

So. I hope this is the beginning of a trend. Thought not next Thursday, as it is the opening for the latest exhibit I organized. Which you should consider coming to.
